Neils Poll Low Crown Juggling Hat Two-Tone
The low crown double felt poll hat is a modification of the original Niels Poll hat which has a higher crown. This hat only made with black felt and ribbon. It is masterfully made using Italian imported felt, ribbon and thread. It will not wear out or lose it's stiffness, even with heavy use. It is properly weighted for tricks and much heavier than single felt. One of most important features of this hat, is that it is symmetrically round, there is not a front or back to the hat. With a round hat it is easier to manipulate than an oblong shape, which is how most hats you wear are made. This is the ultimate trick hat. Renegade assures you that this hat will outlast all other juggling hats.The hat has twp-tones black outside and red inside, or grey outside and balck inside.
The main reason juggler select the low crown hat has to do with the look of the hat. The high crown hat can look clumsy comparied to the more sleek look of the low crown hat. For the beginner hat juggle who is not so concerned about the look of the hat, the high crown hat is a better choice. It has more weight and is easier to do hat roll tricks with. It is also easier to use of you plan to toss juggle the hats.
To get the size right, make a head band out of two sheets of copy paper. Fold the paper over and make band about 2 inches wide. Fit this band around your head so you have room for one finger, inside the band. Then cut this paper head band and measure the lenth in centimeter, this will give you the correct size. The hats are called Neils Poll hats because, Neils was the hat juggler who discovered the Danish hat makers and designed the hat. Neils came up with the idea of making the hat multi-layerd, and with a plastic bead sewn into the brim of the juggling hat.
